The United States Senate unanimously approved S. Res. 239, designating June as Great Outdoors Month. The resolution action was led once again by U.S. Senator Steve Daines of Montana, who led parallel efforts in 2017 and 2018. In comments following passage of the resolution, Senator Daines said, “In Montana, there’s no better way to spend time than to head to your favorite national park or explore our public lands. By designating June as Great Outdoors Month, I hope folks will take a break from their busy lives and enjoy the outdoors around them!”
